Barely landed in Montreal, Antoine Ryan started out as a photographer. As his career was booming, he decided on a whim to buy his first video camera. This first purchase allowed him to make his place as one of the most promising cinematographers in Montreal. Having started by earning a living first through several advertising projects, he made his first steps in fiction in 2018. His determination, his critical vision of society and his desire to make projects at any cost had the effect of making him work on several fiction projects in 2019. Following his experience on When It Falls, he continued to work with Romain Dumont as director on their most recent project, Les Moldus. His year 2020 began with a bang, since it is also marked by the release of a documentary short film he shot in Haiti, directed by JB Proulx: Erich.
