Alexandra and Denisa, two adolescent sisters, spend the summer holiday in the countryside. Alexandra tries to gain the attention of the older boys and show her older sister that she’s no longer just a kid.

Simona Borcea is an aspiring film director, currently attending the Master’s Degree program at The National University of Theater and Film “I.L. Caragiale” in Bucharest. Her latest film “Truth or Dare” is an attempt at exploring the themes of teenage love and coming of age, using sensory visual elements, something she would like to further explore in future projects. She is interested in finding her own manner of using the cinematic language, in a pursuit of exploring the themes that concern her, which at the moment are revolving around feelings of self-doubt, immaturity or self-kowledge, often doubled by feelings of estrangement experienced by individuals in today’s society.
