Bálint Kenyeres – Born in 1976 in Budapest, Kenyeres studied philosophy, film history, and theory before graduating as a film director from the Budapest Film and Theatre Academy in 2006. A member of the European Film Academy, he is known for Before Dawn (Cannes 2005, Sundance Jury Prize, European Film Award 2006). The Spectacle continues his exploration of human dignity and displacement.
