Director
Arshia Shakiba studied digital film production and graduated from the Toronto Film School. He began his professional career as a director and cinematographer on a number of award-winning short films and music videos. He recently directed and filmed the short documentaries The Guests and Who Loves the Sun (in post-production). Arshia is currently filming his first feature-length documentary Sleepless in collaboration with the National Film Board of Canada. For ROJEK, Roger Deakins awarded him and Nicolas Canniccioni the Best Cinematography Award at Mirage Festival (Norway)
