Christos Stergioglou
President of the Jury
Christos Stergioglou is an actor with over 40 years of experience in theater and cinema, known for his roles in films like DOGTOOTH, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, Oscar nominated film – Academy Awards 2011 & awarded with the prize ‘Un Certain Regard’ at the Cannes Film Festival 2009, or THE ETERNAL RETURN OF ANTONIS PARASCKEVAS, directed by Elina Psikou, film awarded at the Thessaloniki Festival in 2013, where Christos Stergioglou won “Best Actor”.

Pablo Delgado
Pablo Delgado graduated from the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC). His first feature film, Las Lágrimas (2013), toured film festivals around the world, including Locarno (Carte Blanche Award), Rotterdam (World Premiere), Morelia (Mexican Premiere) and many more. His documentary, Mi Piel Oculta (2022), in collaboration with Guadalupe Sanchez, premiered at Ambulante. He is currently preparing his next feature horror film, Corpus. After over a decade, Pablo made a return to fiction filmmaking with La Cascada - which was the winner of Canal+ Award at Clermont-Ferrand 2024 and Best Film Winner at Bucharest Short Film Festival 2024. He is a creative member of Panamericana Pictures, where he writes, directs, and produces.

Tibo Pinsard
After studying at Dijon Fine Arts School, Tibo Pinsard became a journalist for a few years whilst directing his first short films. Tibo’s short GORILLA has been multi-awarded throughout the world (46 awards for 121 selections) and was in the long-list for Best Short Film of the Academy Awards 2017. Since then, Tibo has co-written and directed, in Australia, THE PET KILLER, a dark comedy mini-series for Blackpills, coproduced by Deadrock/Deadhouse (Australia) and Rockzeline (France). Tibo is currently developing several series and feature films, as well as documentaries. One of these projects is a documentary on Iggy Pop and the Stooges.

Emmanuel Tenenbaum
Emmanuel Tenenbaum is a French director living in the Netherlands. A former biomedical engineer at Philips, he has been working for years with Quebec screenwriter Guillaume Fournier. Together, they were able to create realistic and strong short films about multinationals. Their films have received more than 100 awards (Grand Prize at REGARD, Sapporo, Qualifed for the Oscars 2021) in 300 festivals (Hollyshorts, Show me Shorts), as well as nominated for Vimeo Best of the year. Emmanuel is currently developing his first feature film.

Sorin Baican
Sorin is a highly experienced film editor, contributing to films such as “The Shukar Collective Project”, directed by Matei Mocanu, or the Silver Bear awarded “When I want to whistle, I whistle”, directed by Florin Șerban, awarded short films (“Music in blood” directed by Alexandru Mavrodineanu or TV shows (X Factor). He is the co-founder of Studioset, a full-house production company based in Bucharest (http://studioset.tv), known for its highly innovative cinematic and commercial projects. In the recent years, he activates extensively as an audio-visual producer within the Studioset creative playground, aiming constantly at discovering new talents which have a special voice in the audio-visual field.

Octavian Chiriac
Octavian Chiriac is an experienced digital artist with a successful 12+ year career producing top quality 2D and 3D character animation. Currently, Octavian is a founding member of FatFox Animation. He started off as a trainee at Mirari Films in Brasov and quickly rose through the ranks. Some of his notable projects at the production company included work for Cartoon Network Adult Swim (Mongo Wrestling Alliance, Thunderstruck, King Star King), Comedy Central (Brickleberry), Disney Channel (Pair of Kings), Warner Bros. (Let`s Get Crappy). He also worked at Softwin, where he did animations for an e-learning platform, and as a freelancer in partnership with different animation studios in Romania.

Daniel Șerbănică
Born in 1973, in Bucharest, Daniel Șerbănică is a very passionate and talented Director Of Photography. Daniel finished his studies at the National University of Drama and Film of Bucharest, in 2002, with a major in Cinematography. He also finished the Kodak Cinematography Master Class in 2003. He has won awards for Best Cinematography at the Dakino Film Festival in 2002, and Best Cinematography at Cinema Iubit Film Festival in 2001, both for the short film ’’Mecano’’ (Director: Cristian Nemescu, 2001). Daniel’s filmography includes feature films (’’7 of Hearts’’, ’’Piatra Craiului, My Love’’, ’’Happy End’’) and short films (’’Tamara, Echelon’’, ’’The Catalog’’, ’’Doina’’’’2,3…Go’’ ’’Car Horn’’, ’’Lunch Box’’, ’’The Change’’, ’’Mecano’’, and many others).

Ștefan Crișan
Music producer, sound designer, foley artist, Ștefan Crișan started his musical activity in 1995, before going to study Photo-Video, at Cluj-Napoca Art University. His musical background includes collaborations with different Romanian bands and musicians, and radio, advertising and film productions. He has been involved in the Romanian success ’’Restul e tăcere’’ by Nae Caranfil (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0839967/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1), and won a Gopo award for best sound, with this film. Besides studio activity, Ștefan Crișan has been busy with his personal musical project, Bubblegun.

Bogdan Filip
Director Of Photography, with more than 20 years of experience as a DOP, lighting and shooting commercials, feature films, documentaries, television programs and music videos, for a variety of international brands and artists.

Radu Munteanu
Festival Director
Born in 1984, in the city of Piatra Neamt. After highschool, Radu studied film directing in Bucharest (2003-2007) at the recommendation of his mentor, Sergiu Nicolaescu. He collaborated as director and producer with different projects and directors, including short and feature films. Since 2016 he is the founder & director of Bucharest Short Film Festival and The Black Sea Film Festival and co-founder & director of Transilvania Shorts.
