Reunion island. Cassandre, a 12 year old girl, has just lost her father. One morning, she runs away on her own in direction of the Circus of Mafate. She wishes to honor the last will of her dead father. But on her way back home, she gets lost.
After 10 years on sets as a film technicien, Joffrey Renambatz shoots his first film, Cassandre, on the Reunion Island where he comes from. He tackles there the issue of loss trough the wandering of a little girl, alone into the impressive wild of the island.
