The parents of the silent Felix are passionate hunters. Not only in the hunting ground, but also at home they keep order with a firm hand. But can that what disturbs the peace of the forest be tamed with rules or does the parents’ plan drive the whole family into gloom.

Director – Lorenz Piehl

Lorenz Piehl was born in Magdeburg in 1989.He spent his school years at the boarding school Klosterschule Roßleben. From 2009 to 2013 he worked as a media designer for image and sound in Leipzig. In 2013 Lorenz began studying directing at the Filmakademie Baden- Württemberg. In 2018, he successfully completed the Hollywood Masterclass at UCLA in Los Angeles. In the autumn of 2020, Lorenz Piehl received his diploma from the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and is now in preparation for his debut. 
Lorenz Piehl’s films deal critically with current topics of our society and always have an additional focus on extraordinary visual aesthetics. His Arabic chamber play “escaping damascus”; was shown at the 48th Hof Film Festival in 2014, with his fantastic music drama “Guy”; he celebrated international success for the first time in 2016 and his one-shot film “Zorn dem Volke” started the festival tour 2017 at the, for camera work most important film festival, CAMERIMAGE in Poland.
